HORNCO, LLC uses modern state-of-the-art mulching machines. These tractors are designed and built at the factory for the purpose of mulching (they are not logging tractors converted into mulchers). The tractors can be equipped with “low ground pressure” tires for wet ground conditions.

The advantage to using this equipment is the efficiency to mulch large trees and heavy ground cover in a one-step process. They mulch stumps and wood debris to ground level. The end products can remain on the soil in an effort to eliminate erosion and will decompose over time. The process is environmentally friendly without the need for burning or hauling debris to landfills.
